![]() ![]() ![]() However, One thing that's nice with ianimate is that you have access to ALL class recordings instead of just the one class you've enrolled in (same with animsquad), whereas schools like animschool and animation mentor only allow you rigs and class materials related to the class you're enrolled in(character animation students don't have access to game rigs and viseversa) -But I can see how this would be a good thing by giving you only the tools you need to succeed in the class (you wouldn't give a beginner artist expensive oils and advanced tools to learn basic fundamentals of art). Ianimate competitors have places to discuss website, assignments, rigs, jobs and industry, but with ianimate, my classmates and I had to create our own Facebook group to communicate. ![]() I've taken a class w/ ianimate and even though the instructor (Jason Anastas) taught me alot, was very friendly and we loved to hear his industry stories, the ianimate platform and system is mediocre (It's like Dropbox for submitting assignments and watching class recordings), whereas other schools have a structure that makes submitting assignments, viewing recordings, contacting students and instructors very simple and easy. ![]()
